Hapag-Lloyd Express to Atlantic Shuttle Launch

Hapag-Lloyd will launch an Atlantic Express Shuttle between North Europe and the East Coast of North America, effective Sept. 25. The shuttle will provide a weekly service directly between Antwerp and New York, with a transit time of nine days.

It is meant to enhance the existing GA services PAX and ATX and will
help meet increasing customer demand, according to Hapag-Lloyd.

Hapag-Lloyd will operate the Atlantic Express Shuttle deploying three vessels with 2,200 20-foot equivalent units capacity.
