Azeri oil shipment port of Ceyhan, turkey grew by 6.7%
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has announced next statistic data on Azeri oil export via main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) named after Heydar Aliyev.
SOCAR informs that this July it was shipped 3.5 million tons of Azeri
oil from Turkish port Ceyhan against 3.28 million tons in June, 3.5
million in May, 3.1 million tons in April, 2.84 million tons in March,
2.5 million tons in February, and by 2.8 million tons in January 2010
and December 2009.
This July’s shipping lowered by 6.7% versus the previous month.
“For Jan-Jul 2010 shipping totaled 21.8 million tons,” it was informed.
Last year export made up 36.3 million tons, and the last year’s best
indicator was registered in May (3.5 million tons). This indicator was
repeated in May and July of 2010.
From the very beginning of BTC pipe operation since mid-2006 to 1st
August 2010 export from Ceyhan totaled 126.4 million tons of Azeri oil.
